This replacement part has been precision CNC machined from locally sourced timber. All parts are check fitted against a reference action and barrel, however will require fitting and finishing work to match your individual rifle. If you do not have the requisite skills and tools to complete the fitting, we recommend engaging a gunsmith or other competent person. Referenced in Ian Skennerton's book 'The Lee-Enfield', Qld Maple was used for stocking Lithgow (AUS) manufactured rifles for a short tim in the late 1930's. QLD Maple is a timber species found on the North East coast of Australia varying from light to medium darkness, with a yellow hue.
